Ownership and control

Visitors retain rights in the information they submit. Course Orbit uses instructor and bookstore business information only to respond, fulfill, support, and document the requested relationship. Institutions retain control of their education records subject to the applicable agreement.

Public-site retention

• Aggregate analytics files are retained for 90 days.
• Incomplete instructor leads are reviewed and removed after 90 days.
• Inactive submitted instructor leads, linked instructor records, fallback requests, and optional profile-report requests are retained for up to 24 months, then deleted or de-identified unless a contract or law requires longer.
• Support-system records follow the support service’s documented operational policy.

What the public site does not collect

The public marketing site does not ask students for institutional passwords, grades, government identifiers, payment-card numbers, or education-record documents. Visitors should not place that information in support or instructor-request notes.

To request access, correction, or deletion of public-site information, contact [email protected]. Identity and applicable contractual or legal requirements must be verified before a request is completed.
