Accessibility Statement

Course Orbit is committed to ensuring that our website and course materials are accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or the assistive technology used to access them.

Our conformance standard

We work to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard most commonly required by educational institutions and referenced in federal and state accessibility regulations. This applies both to courseorbit.com and to the course materials we publish.

What we do

Accessibility is built into our course production process rather than added afterward. This includes providing text alternatives for meaningful images, accurate captions and transcripts for audio and video content, full keyboard operability, and a heading and page structure that works with screen readers and other assistive technology.

Ongoing testing

We combine automated accessibility scanning with periodic manual testing, including keyboard-only and screen-reader testing, across our website and course materials. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing practice, not a one-time certification.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet fully conform to every success criterion. We are actively working to identify and remediate any such gaps as they are discovered.

Reporting a barrier

If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere on this site or within our course materials, please let us know so we can address it. Contact us at [email protected] with a description of the issue and the page or material where you encountered it.

Conformance-report status

A completed public Accessibility Conformance Report is not currently posted. See the Accessibility Conformance Report Status page and contact us for course- and configuration-specific review materials. This statement describes our target and practices; it is not a blanket certification.
